CASA of the Sabine Neches Region is excited to host the 5th Annual Wildwood CASA Classic Golf Tournament on April 05, 2025, at the beautiful championship Wildwood Golf Course in Village Mills, TX. Participants and sponsors are pivotal in supporting trained Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) volunteers who advocate for children and youth suffering from abuse, neglect, and abandonment. Join us for what promises to be a successful golf tournament as we address the urgent needs of children within the child welfare system across Orange, Hardin, Jasper, Newton, Tyler, and Sabine Counties. About Wildwood Golf Course: Nestled just 30 miles north of Beaumont, Wildwood Golf Course is an exceptional 18-hole facility with ratings of 71.9/121 (Blue Tees) & 69.9/116 (White Tees) for men and 69.7/115 for women. Set within the heart of the Big Thicket National Forest, this course boasts unique flora, towering trees, and a rich array of wildlife. Experience ten distinct ecosystems, where friendly locals and even wildlife like deer might share your round! Tournament Details: Flight Check-In: Begins at 7:30 AM with a delightful breakfast. Golf: A 4-person scramble starts at 8:30 AM. Post-Golf Activities: Enjoy lunch, participate in drawings, win prizes, and experience other surprises at the pavilion. CASA of the Sabine Neches Region, a non-profit, trains and supervises community volunteers to provide crucial information and recommendations to judges, ensuring the best possible outcomes for these children. Regrettably, less than half of these children have a CASA advocate. Our mission is to ensure every child experiencing abuse or neglect has a dedicated CASA volunteer to speak for their best interests, helping them find a safe, loving home.
