We are seeking your support to help remove trash from our streets, clean up our waterways, and spruce up our neighborhoods. Your participation will help us come together as a community and work side-by-side to showcase our pride, stewardship, and commitment to each other.
How can you get involved? We need you to form a team to help us pick up litter in our neighborhoods on Saturday, February 25th. To register your team, contact Ashley Jordan by email at ajordan@shangrilagardens.org or via phone at (409) 670-0803. Teams or individuals may also register on the morning of the event at the City of Orange Boat Ramp.
In addition to those who will scour our streets, we really need teams and individuals with small boats and kayaks to gather trash along the Sabine River and Adams Bayou. Watercraft will be able to conveniently launch directly onto the Sabine River from the City of Orange Boat Ramp. Participants cleaning Adams Bayou will be able to launch kayaks at Orange Lions Park.
Following a busy morning of trash pickup, all Community Trash Off participants are invited to enjoy a free pizza lunch and door prizes at the City of Orange Boat Ramp.
We need your participation and support more than ever this year. We truly hope you will consider giving a few hours of your time to make a positive impact in our community and the environment.
